and we ended up at Medieval Times. On Saturday- we (Ryan, Rick, Lexi, Gia, and me) piled in the car and drove. My goal was to look for a 'dive or a dump' for lunch/dinner. We drove and drove and drove. We ended up in Greenville- almost stopped at a Mexican Food restuarant, but a cracked out homeless man gave my husband the creeps!
As we were driving, my husband

mentioned Medieval Times- sounded like a great- VERY LAST MINUTE idea. So w/o hesitation, we went to Medieval Times. Dang, I wish we had a coupon, but we were lucky in that the girls were FREE and they got a full meal-- so Ryan and Rick got two full meals :-) Their food is soooooooooo good- I wish I had ordered a vegie plate- since there was so much meat on the table- I was really craving some broc and cauli!

As Lexi and Gia wore their $20 Princess crowns (I really need to tear one apart and learn how to make those

things) , sat on each of our laps------ the lights went down, the show began and Lexi almost had a heart attack. I really don't blame her because when the lights went out- two Medieval characters came smashing out of the gate with full armor on-- horrible/loud/ scary music was playing and the fighting began. Too much for a 3 year old--not too much for Gia-- she was sitting in my lap 'chillin'!
Thank goodness Rick was holding her and not me. I would have babyed her, however Rick treated her like a big girl, and she quickly got over it AND had the best time!!! The Yellow Knight threw my Lexi a red carnation because she was the most beautiful princess in our section :-)
So we had a great time-- however on the way to the car Lexi fell because her boots are a tad too big and scrapped her knees-- her heart was broken and she was exhausted AND did I mention during the show-- Gia peed on me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
